Rehabilitation and modernization of the Marés Swimming Pool with the construction of new sanitary facilities, demolition of existing facilities that threatened to collapse, expansion of the paved area, rehabilitation of the adult and children’s pools and their respective infrastructures, including new exterior walls.
The general refurbishment of the equipment was carried out, including the surrounding support walls with the treatment of the degraded concrete surfaces and the interior lining of the pools, including intervention in the salt water collection and filtration system and electrical infrastructure.
The entire intervention was guided by maintaining the original character of the equipment, respecting its architectural expression with careful consideration of the level of intervention and the choice of materials.
